Always popular and so easy to make, this Weet-Bix slice recipe is a great way to involve the kids in the kitchen. Let them crush up the Weet-Bix for the base and pour on the icing after itâs baked.

- 4 Weet-Bix crushed
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1/2 cup coconut
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tbs cocoa
- 70 g butter
- 1/4 cup water
- Preheat oven to 180C (160C fan-forced). Melt butter and mix into crushed Weet-Bix.
- Add remaining ingredients and stir to combine.
- Line a square cake tin with baking paper. Press Weet-Bix mixture into the base. Bake for 15 minutes.
- To make icing, sift icing sugar into a bowl. Add milk gradually, stirring, until you have a smooth, spreadable consistency. Pour icing over slice in tin. Spread to cover completely. Allow to set. Slice.
You can sprinkle coconut or 100s 1000s on top for an extra delicious treat!
You could add cocoa powder to the icing to make chocolate icing.
