Scotch Eggs

Great for a picnic lunch as well as a family meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 egg hard-boiled peeled
  • 3/4 cup plain flour
  • 250 g sausage
  • 1 tsp garlic minced
  • 1 tbs mixed herbs chopped
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 cup white dried breadcrumbs

Directions

  1. Roll the eggs in flour.
  2. Combine sausage meat, garlic, herbs and salt and pepper.
  3. Wrap meat around the hardboiled eggs.
  4. Brush with beaten egg and roll in breadcrumbs.
  5. Fry in hot oil for about 7 minutes.
